Practicum Student Therapist

I am a Mental Health Counselor Trainee, looking forward to helping you accomplish your goals and work through any transitions you are currently facing and struggling with as we journey through life.
I am a native Houstonian and currently in The Family Institute’s Master of Arts in Counseling program at Northwestern University. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin in American Studies and have had a few professions prior to committing myself to the world of psychology. I have traveled around the world when I was a Training and Development Project Manager in the Oil and Gas industry. I have also worked in the legal industry as a Paralegal. Throughout my undergraduate education I worked in sales, so I have had a pretty diverse road that I've traveled on and have been able to meet and work with many wonderful human beings over the years. In summation I love learning about new cultures and historicities of all human beings. I love art and hope to one day provide art therapy services to my clients. My current endeavor is finding a MD/PhD program that suits my interests as I hope to become a psychiatrist and continue to help others along the way.
